Mark, a Cape Town-based photographer with an unshakable passion for capturing life through the lens. Mark is a commercial photographer, retoucher, and videographer with ICapture Solutions, where he produces exceptional work across various industries – from food and architecture to portraits, weddings, events, and more. But beyond the studio lights and structured shoots lies his first love: wildlife and nature photography. Mark has travelled extensively across Africa to capture its raw, untamed beauty — and it’s in the quiet moments of nature that his true photographic soul shines.

Mark’s journey with photography began when he studied at Technikon, driven by a love for visual storytelling. However, a devastating break-in early in his career led to the loss of all his equipment and temporarily put his creative dreams on hold. He pivoted into a highly successful 23-year career in the IT and Telecommunications industry, culminating in his involvement with the rollout of the 2010 FIFA World Cup IT infrastructure. After this milestone project, Mark accepted a retirement package and made a bold choice — to return to the craft that first inspired him.

Relocating to Cape Town, Mark reignited his passion for photography. He built an impressive portfolio focused on wildlife and nature before co-founding iCapture Imagery, where his skill and creative eye continue to grow. Whether he’s photographing a lion on the Serengeti or crafting a cinematic wedding video, Mark brings authenticity, precision, and emotion to every frame.
